I’m just putting something out there to see what people think do you think we should ask the committee to go back to half way point of the season take the points that everyone had at that point and decide the league there and then. Then when this crisis is over we start again with a new league with people going up and down from the first half of season points. With the pubs now being shut for the foreseeable future I can’t see us starting again for a while and doing it this way it give the committee a few months to sort league arrange fixtures and all we do as soon as they reopen the pubs we start again. Prize money carried over to new season we don’t pay subs for new season or half subs. I know the committee are as frustrated as we are and this way we all know we can just start again no problem

So why not just start the season again as is?
No adjustments or sorting out to do, no headaches, no problem, why have half a season, then start a new one with with half seasons results? Makes no sense, just scrap it and start again, that’s if the pubs survive.
Just throwing it out there 😉

Goldie agree mate just putting ideas out there so the league can still see we are all behind them everyone has their own opinions which is great and giving the committee all these ideas helps them to make the right decision. The people I feel sorry for are our fantastic landlords who are really going though the mill and I for one hope each and everyone of them come out the other side of this crisis what me and you think means jack mate. We all want to be playing and the landlords need us there in the pubs all I was doing was giving the committee a idea

would not be right to go back to halfway as seasons meant to have 2 halves if it can't be finished because of the Corona virus then should just be voided completely.if poss move teams up from all leagues to fill the byes

I wouldn’t say no to prize money as my team would be top and going up to a harder division. So for all our wins this season we don’t get anything out of this. And then teams going down a division get it easier for the following season. I think we should either call it how the league is now and finish it now. Or carry it through to the end as normal when this is all over. If you wasn't top of your league you would also say end it at halfway and start again from scratch when pubs re-open (Which could and will be quite some time) Even if the pubs re-open anytime soon it will not be the greatest of idea's to start overcrowding straight away

I just think at the end of the day games have been played the results you get should be rewarded. However there’s now a voting system so we will see what happens. I do think if the season is void we should all remain in the same division.

Ending it how it stands wouldn't be fair to teams who find themselves in relegation position due to the fact they have played all the top teams and the teams above them who are only a few points in front will have had a harder run in towards the end of the season. The same could be said for teams that are competing for promotion and prize money.
Calling it the halfway point is also unfair to those who play more away games in one half of the season and reverse it for the second half.
I think the league should be scrapped and restarted. Those who are disappointed on potentially missing out on money prizes or possible promotion will get the opportunity to prove they can do it again. It's going to be the same teams in the same league so theoretically a similar overall positioning should result.
We're not playing for the crown jewels..£200 per wining team divided by 5 or 6 players isn't worth worrying about.
I am sure there will be some bias opinions depending on individuals regarding promotion , relegation or money , but if we put this thing into perspective, everbody's health is far more important than this league now or in the future.

If the majority want to keep their potential prize money or promotion chances, the other best option would be to continue the league from where we left off.

I agree with stay safe...Prize money and promotion should be given on merit, not default. Play the season out or scrap it and start again.
