The SDDL Committee were recently approached to allow two new teams (Windmill & Bakers P) to join the SDDL several weeks into the start of the 2019/20 Winter season.
These teams were placed in the E & F Division and began to play at the beginning of this month.
Having received feedback from teams in both divisions we, the SDDL Committee, have revisited this decision and how their integration into the SDDL League was managed.
The SDDL Committee have agreed that the fairest and most consistent way to manage this was to give a 14-0 result to all teams in the first half of the season. The two teams involved have been notified of this decision and given the option to play on or to withdraw. We are pleased that both teams have agreed to stay in the SDDL and they have both opted to play from the half way mark.
We have notified the teams due to play this week 24th Jan) that they will have no game. Captains for games next week need to know that their game will also not go ahead.
Please ensure that if you see anyone that plays in the E or F Division you share this information with them in case they haven't seen this notice.
