Will the leagues stay at 12 and if they do will it be 3 up 3 down? or it is still undecided?

that depends on how many teams enter
3 up 3 down is a possibility as we are paying down to 3rd this season
I quite like 12 in a league and from the people I have spoken to, it seems to have been well received.

why not have a playoff between 3rd in league and 3rd bottom of the higher league got the time to do it and adds a bit of spice to the fixture

No disrespect but you can’t change rules at end of season it always been 2 up 2 down if you want to change it to 3 up 3 down it should be talked about and voted on before season starts only saying

Well if that the case it should be made clear there seems to be a what ever suits the committee attitude. Look I’m not having a go at them because without these guys we would not be playing Fridays all I’m saying is make everything clear before we start as it happens it doesn’t effect my team as we finished 5th in our league but will effect a lot of other teams. In future just sent rules out before season starts and there no argument at end

Summer season was different because leagues had to be changed from 10 to 12 teams so in some cases 3 (or more?) seemed to go up but it was just to get things sorted into the new format. I'm sure the rules will be looked at by the committee to take odd events like this into account in future.

Johnno totally agree I for one think Steph Andy Tommy and rest of the committee are doing a fantastic job to run this league as well as they do without much thanks. People should be greatful we are playing darts on a Friday night because without these people we wouldn’t they all have full time jobs but still find time to run this league. Without them we would all be sat in doors Friday nights.

Thanks for the support and the constructive feedback.
The rule actually says:
The Management Committee will endeavour to run on a ‘two up’, ‘two down’ system at the end of each season.
I can remember having to put 5 teams up before now and sometimes only 1 has gone up.
I think if we are paying down to 3rd place and we have an increased number of teams in a league (12) it is only right that 3 go up and 3 go down.
Obviously, this doesn't always happen as teams drop out and other teams come in
